The Technical Projects
Aperture, Shutter Speed, White Balance, Exposure
For these projects you will need a camera and a tripod. You will need to set up your camera in a setting that will exaggerate the effect of the project you are working on:
Aperture: Need a close subject at least 3/4 image filled with background
(TRIPOD- 50mm Lens with: 1.8, 2.8, 4.0, 5.6, 8.0, 11, 16
Shutter Speed: Need a stationary moving subject (Think of the pinwheel above)
(Tripod- Any lens with: 1", 1/4, 1/20, 1/60, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000
White Balance: Most outdoor shots will work best:
(Tripod- Any Lens NOT in direct sunlight with: Auto, Daylight, Shade, Cloudy, Tungsten, Fluorescent, and Flash)
Exposure: Sunny areas work best for this project
(Tripod-Use the exposure comp. at -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3)
ISO (Bonus): This project works best in low light and dark areas
(Tripod-50mm set at Av 1.8- Only adjust ISO at 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400, 12800
