A NEW PHOTOGRAPH INSPIRED BY
Jerry Uelsman was doing crazy cool composites (combining multiple images together) before even photoshop was around! Look at his work then create your own composite based off his ideas!
SINGLE COLOR COMPOSITION
The term monochromatic refers to the use of a single color (or lack of color) in a photograph. For this assignment you will be collecting things of the same color and photographing them in collection. Green, Yellow, Red, and Blue are usually the easiest things to find. Experiment with different colors!
Have you ever come across a scene so cool that it doesn't fit into a single camera frame? In this assignment you will be creating a panorama using Lightroom. It is important to have strong foreground, middle ground, and background elements in your picture. Use F/8 and make sure you are following the minimum 9 grid - three shots looking up, three shots looking straight ahead, three shots looking down.
For this branch off project you will create a "tiny world" by taking a 360 panoramic. Follow the instructions in the video and see what you can make!
Then put yourself on the planet!
For this project you will be creating a set of 3 unique images that go together in some way. They can connect via theme, subject, color, focus, or any other way you can think of. They must be separate though and not a single image.
