COPYCAT  +  INSPIRATION

Copycat: An image that tries to copy the subject, lighting, composition of a photograph.

Inspiration: An image that tries to capture the sentiment, emotion, idea of a photograph, by creating something new.

When creating a copycat the focus is on learning the lighting, subject placement, posing, and composition of strong and famous images.

The goal is to become a better photographer through the study of famous photographers and their images.

When creating an inspiration image the focus is on actualizing your own ideas. The artists are only there to spark your imagination.

The goal is to create something new, interesting, weird, beautiful, ugly, fantastic
